Hello again, Project Safeguard is going well. The story has been outlined to the last chapters and currently has over 60,000 words in its draft. It’s years out from publishing but making great progress and will be an exciting new story. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Contred Game as well, has plans, looking over the first book I have realized it needs some re-writing. Well not some, a lot of it, I’m still proud of the story and the boost it has given me in my confidence in writing but I have learned A LOT since I wrote The Contred Game and for the health of the series I believe re-writing the first book, and getting the foundation of the series fixed will do a lot to make the Contred Game the best that it can be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So don’t worry, The Contred Game has not been forgotten, simply I am taking the time that it needs to re-write it with everything I know now, and I have learned a lot, I hope when I re-publish the first book the difference will be drastic in the best way possible while still keeping the same characters and premise, just telling it better. That re-write process will start sometime after May of 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why after May you ask? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, that brings us to the book that this post is actaully about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devoted. Afraid. Desperate – D.A.D<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a new novel that comes from a writing class that I’m currently attending. Within this writing class, I have learned a lot when it comes to writing, editing, publishing, character and story development and am so thankful to my teacher for everything that she has taught all of us in the classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will be 12-chapter story, following the character Abraham, the father of triplet two-year-old’s. Showcasing his life as he tries to navigate raising his boys and struggling with bills, grocery shopping and the sleepless nights known by every parent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, with no warning, he and his kids suddenly find themselves thrown into some sort of quest, and he has to solve it in order to get his kids home again.
In this journey, he faces adversity, diaper changes mid battle, the occasional melt down (toddler and adult), and low rations.
But the path isn\u2019t as straight forward as he thought, and the threat of never getting home might not be what he should be worried about. His kids lives – and even his own sanity – may hang in the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be(should be) published around May! See why Contred Game has to wait till after May now? Because this story is still in the draft phase and must get past that and reach completion before May and thanks to this class I will be able to do that and once its published I will be posting it on this website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s all for now, just a little update on writing. A lot of books are in the works right now it’s just that D.A.D is taking priority because it has a concrete publishing date, and needs to be completed for me to pass this class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
