Finely its done! Book one was published Feburary 29th 2020. I am very proud of the story, the characters. It makes me smile and I hope that everyone who reads the book smiles too. Otherwise I guess I didn’t do my job right 🙂
This is the first book that I have ever published, but not the first one I have written; more posts about that later.
One of the reasons that I wrote this book is because, as I am quite young, when I looked around for books to read I found it hard to find books that I liked and that didn’t have anything that made me feel uncomfortable.
I like a story with action and drama, stories that seem real, and I found some series of books that had some of that; The Wings fo Fire series (Go check it out, I highly recommend it! But big warning the deaths are kind of graphic sometimes, so maybe not for very young readers or maybe have an adult read the prologue to see if that would be too graphic) and the Percy Jackson series.
I looked around for different books to read that were both fun, and interesting. But not too scary or weird to the point where it makes you feel uncomfortable.
What’s in The Contred game; book 1:
- Talk of amputated contred(Not human, now that would be creepy) body parts as comic relief
- Brainless skeletal creatures getting cut apart in various ways
- Some wounds that are patched up but aren’t described in detail
- Battle scenes
What’s not in the book:
- Swearing
- Inappropriate romantic scenes
- Graphic injuries
